Grapes

Grapes, whether for table consumption or wine production, have faced numerous challenges over thousands of years of cultivation. Unfortunately, these challenges are increasing in both speed and number. This includes issues related to climate change due to global warming, soil management, the rising demand for plant protection, and even rapidly changing consumer preferences. These challenges are significant on their own, but when combined, they can become overwhelming for those working with grapes.

The ReBuSch technology was inspired by these challenges and has been at the forefront of developing solutions specifically optimized for viticulture, with ongoing research efforts. Our prominent partner, the University of Pécs Viticulture and Enology Research Institute, plays a key role in developing future-proof viticulture technologies and related services.

Few people know that much of Hungary’s viticultural knowledge is still centered in Pécs, particularly at the Research Institute for Viticulture and Enology, established in 1949. The Pécs University Vineyard, located in the heart of the Pécs wine region, is a renowned intellectual hub for viticulture in Southern Hungary. Their grape variety collection is the second-largest in Europe and the sixth-largest globally, recognized as a true treasure. Research in grape breeding, genetics, viticulture technology, and enology continues to thrive here.

The more comprehensively we apply ReBuSch technology in viticulture, the more spectacular the results. Even our basic package, which includes irrigation technology and the use of biostimulants, delivers remarkable outcomes. Improved plant health makes transitioning to organic farming easier, reducing the need for chemical interventions. With ReBuSch technologies, we can achieve better results while using less water. Whether for table or wine grapes, our customized technology leads to improvements in both yield and quality. This may be the extra factor needed to win a gold medal in wine tasting! For table grapes, the result is more uniform berries with better flavor and extended shelf life.

The core of the ReBuSch complex technology is its ability to offer solutions from planning to cultivation. We can significantly reduce annual costs per unit of production.
